Sagan makes it four in Denver
August 25 – Peter Sagan finished in the best way his first experience at the USA Pro Cycling Challenge. The Slovakian champion of Cannondale Pro Cycling, after three great wins, took also the fourth with a winning sprint in Denver (116 km, second Anderson and third Bazzana). Sagan was absolutely the star of the 2013 edition of the race, as well as his teammates that did an amazing job to support and to drive him to the victory.In 2013, Sagan took 18 wins while Cannondale Pro Cycling 29.
“All these successes in Colorado came thanks a great teamwork and also in Denver happened so” said Sagan. “This experience at the USA Pro Cycling Challenge was exciting. I started the race to test my condition and I took fourth wins. I’m really happy, but I’m just at the beginning. Since today, an important month of race is waiting me. I hope to continue as I did in Colorado”.
Sagan will continue to train in altitude in Colorado until the Tour of Alberta with his teammates and team coach Paolo Slongo. After Alberta, he will race GP of Québec and Montréal. Aftere these, he’ll return to Europe to face the World championship in Firenze.
